How to create new topic

Can somebody here tell me how to start a new topic? I have gone through the basic tutorial, I know how to reply, add emojis, quote people…

I can search topics, but can’t find one that relates to my question. I can’t find a “start new topic” or “start new thread” button anywhere. Obviously people are starting new topics every day…

@LauraCripe - go to the category you want and click the “+ New Topic” on right
