How do you delete a merit badge using Scoutbook Plus that was inadvertently marked as Completed and Leader Approved. This was possible in Scoutbook Legacy; however, every course of action redirects me to Scout Book Plus where I cannot locate any feature to delete the merit badge in question.
@JosephMosteller there is no delete in SB+ - you can unapprove and erase date on the MB. Or you can go to legacy > Scout > Scout Merit Badges menu option > select MB > go in through the MBC option and get to the old interface where you could click Complete and get to the Remove option.
The Delete is a tough option - there is no way back from it and many where deleted by mistake and gone in the past.
@DonovanMcNeil- Appreciate the quick response and have a spent considerable amount of time to solution as the Scout is applying for Eagle and I did not want this on the Scouts Advancement Report.
The option of using Scoutbook Legacy via > Scout > Scout Merit Badges menu option > select MB > go in through the MBC option and get to the old interface where you could click Complete and get to the Remove option is not viable option. The only function available is printing the Blue Card.
So I took your first suggestion, that is using Scoutbook Plus and erasing the date which did work. This did reset the merit badge back to “Started” and is now omitted from the Scouts Advancement Report.
FYI…under Troop Roster, you can filter on “Merit Badgers” and “Approved”. There is an icon for editing the badge and there was an “Unapproved” button. However, the button is not functionally operational.
