I uploaded photos in the comments as backup and evidence and now I can’t see them! Anyone know how to see the uploaded images in comment sections successfully?
In Scoutbook Plus’ rank requirements or merit badge requirements, the photo back-ups added in the comments section does not come up at all or stays a few cm big. I finally found a way to make one photo bigger but it is of such poor quality that I can’t see what it is. I need to go back to try to recall what was discussed with a scout but I can’t figure it out because it’s so blurry or non-existent.
Any advice on how to see the photos other than to not use the feature at all? I’ve tried in both Chrome & Edge. It’s a great tool to have, this is super disapointing that I can’t get it to work.
@JamieHawley it sometimes takes a few hours for them to show up successfully - then open the comment, click on image and you can Enlarge - ex Command +..
What was the File type? I think it is Cooking MB. How large was the file size?
And what is the Req # and the Member # of the Scout (no name)
Should have been a jpg google pixel 9 phone. It tends to take pretty good photos.
Also, this particular one is just an example but I’m seeing this across other scouts and including advancements for rank. Can I direct-send the member number? I am not sure of the risks involved in public posting and would prefer to err on the side of safety.
The isolated Member # is fine to send - just no names
I actually found this particular photo on my phone! This one was 2.8 MB.

and this is cooking 4a?
@JamieHawley what profile are you using? MBC? the one in the Scouts Troop? Is it the same for both?
This example is in the MB Counselor area.
@JamieHawley try the troop leader profile
Just tried and am seeing the same things when I change from Merit Badge Counselor to Troop Leader in the right top-hand corner.
OK we will see - thanks
Fail safe - can you try in an Incognito/Private window
I tried but didn’t seem to make a difference. I’m checking with someone else in our troop to see if they are experiencing this. Wondering if it could be phone-related…
@JamieHawley - you are doing this action on mobile ?
Mobile but not through the application, through the browser. I went and looked at other photos that I uploaded with computer to compare, it looks like upload photo through computer is fine. It’s something specific to my phone picture uploading.
