Hello. I am a new committee chair and need to update past cub ranks. I started adding cubs to their current den, but now I think I shouldn’t have done that. Here’s an example. We have a scout who is currently in the Weblo den, so I added him to that den. However, Scoutbook is not showing his Wolf or Bear Advancements (he joined as a Bear). How can I add those past ranks for him (and others)?
@SamanthaDavis2 - if the scout joined as a bear how could they earn wolf rank items ?
@SamanthaDavis2 cubs have to be in the den of the advancement - so if a Wolf advancement they have to be in wolf den - also all the old program is retired in Scoutbook so is no longer enter-able.
Cub advancement does not carry on for Scouts like older program advancements. If the cub joined you unit from another past unit, it might have been that their users did not match up to move past advancements.
D’oh! Sorry, that was a typo. This particular scout joined as a Wolf (2nd grade).

If you provide the Scouting America Member ID (no names) we can look to see if anything was recorded for that Scout.
Al advancement for the previous Cub Scout program had to be entered prior to January 1, 2025. You Council may add missing advancement but many Council staff who would do this are busy handling current registrations and advancements so they may reject such a request.
