I noticed recently that when I create or edit calendar events I know have to enter the start and end times as Central Time Zone times even though my unit calendar is properly set for Eastern (For example, if an event starts at 9am local, for it to properly show up as 9am local once saved and for the reminder to reflect the proper event and reminder execution time, I have to subtract an hour). I’m not sure when this change happened but it is not very user friendly. I would like for me and my leaders to only have worry and work in our local time zone. Any insight?
Is this for a single or multi unit event? Could you provide your unit number and the name of an event impacted by this?
Single. Troop 829B (we’re a combined unit but this is our main calendar). Take a look at the troop meetings, the town campout event or the committee meeting. When you open the event, it has the correct start time, but when you edit the event you will see the time is an hour earlier (which I’ve had to do so the event is the correct eastern time zone time).
Is the Unit Time set under Settings?
Since you are in the pilot, you need to report your issue through your Council.
Respectfully, I do not believe this has anything to do with the pilot. This is a general IA calendar issue.
@WilliamCunnane all Pilot issues are to go to Council - that is what National has stated - they have seen some odd things
