Finding the “Needs Purchasing” Report used to be super easy on the old Scoutbook. Now, every time I need to find it I end up clicking around for 10 minutes until I finally do, and when I finally find it I can’t remember how i even got there. I will note that I do not see it anywhere under the “Reports” section, which I find quite baffling. Anyway, does anyone know an easy way to navigate to “Needs Purchasing” in scout book plus, and if not, whether anyone in charge has plans to change this?

Thank you! This will save me some time. I still do not believe that this is an obvious place to find the needs purchasing report. At the very least it should be an option under the “Quick Report” pull down menu on the Roster page.
It is a single place for all advancement overall work Complete/Approve/Purchase/Award.
I can certainly appreciate wanting to keep “advancement overall work” in a single place. However, what is the harm of having a link to the “needs purchasing report” also available under the “quick reports” dropdown the way that it was in old scoutbook? For that matter, why not also make it available in the “Reports” section? Having more options to find things, as opposed to one single option, may go a long way to easing frustrations for people like me who were trained on old scoutbook. Thank you.

That’s nice to know, but it didn’t help me when I was looking for the “Needs Purchasing” report in the quick report menu. It doesn’t take much internet research to discover that I’m far from the only person who is having trouble finding things on scoutbook plus. I just think that if you took the simple step of putting “Needs Purchasing” directly in the quick reports menu, exactly like it used to be in old scoutbook, you will save many other volunteers from getting frustrated trying to find it. I know it seems so easy to you because you know exactly where to go, but if it was so easy to find I wouldn’t be writing this at all because it wouldn’t be a problem. I am just trying to help you improve this website and make it more user friendly. Have a nice day.
