I am having a difficult time entering completed merit badges. I have merit badges from scout camp I was entering. First entry with multiple people worked. Entries after error saying “Error: There was an error updating one or more requirements, try again later” I am using edge. I have moved to incognito edge. Chrome does the same thing. I have to do a hard page reload (ctrl+F5) and then it will work 40% of the time. With no hard page reload it spins for a couple of minutes and then fails. Does not matter how many youth are selected when entering the merit badge. The same issue exists. I never had any of these issues in scout book, just scout book plus.

This is the error I keep getting. I have now added Firefox to the list of browsers replicating the issue. So edge, chrome and firefox all act the same.
I have also found that sometimes it actually recorded it and sometimes it did not and I have to do the hard refresh page. I would say 90% of the time I am getting this error message.
Hopefully whoever is in charge of developing scoutbook plus is actually monitoring these posts. Very difficult to maintain merit badges for our scouts right now.
@CraigP- first thing is that the dev team and national are not on the forums. Second, does the summer camp use black pug or tenatroo ? if so there is a scoutbook import offered by both. You can user the chrome feature assistant for upload of merit badge completi0ons and partials from the camp.
I think they use tenatroo but they only give me paper copies. When auditing for a court of honor I see the boys did not have them show earned. So I took care of that today.
@CraigP- I know within the tentaroo and black pug camp sites is a link to download scoutbook import file as I have done that many times.
I will look into that. Thanks. Do you know where to report ScoutBook Plus issues?
@CraigP- the forums are the only place to report issues. But as I stated the dev team does not monitor the forums. The SUAC can report things back to the dev team.
How do I enter Partials from camp? I check the requirements completed the go to “Save” and get the circle with the line. Am I missing a step?
@CurtisAbbott did you enter a date? I do not understand Circle with a line statement
Also using individual Quick Entry at top of Merit Badge Page or Unit Quick Entry would probably be easier for summer camp
The only file that can be exported from Tentaroo is a CSV file, which does not import into Scoutbook Plus.
@DrewQ- it can be imported via the feature assistant as the doc i posted notes.
Yes, I do understand that the Legacy Scoutbook interface with the Feature Assistant will accept the CSV file. I have used that many times in the past. This issue is that Tentaroo doesn’t have an option to export a pipe delimited TXT file to be imported into Scoutbook Plus.
@DrewQ- does the import via classic not work ?
It does work on Legacy Scoutbook. My point is that when that is gone, there will be no way to import a CSV file from Tentaroo or Black Pug in Scoutbook Plus. This is a future problem for either Scoutbook Plus or the 3rd party vendors.
@DrewQ- ah now I understand. Just a note that tentaroo and black pug will need to work with scouting America on
The import from Tentaroo and Black Pug has not yet been implemented in Scoutbook Plus. You need to continue the volunteer written and supported Feature Assistant Extension for Scoutbook for Chrome and Firefox.
The developers know this is a required functon. Legacy Scoutbook will not be retired until this and other features are moved to Scoutbook Plus.
