Lock out

My Scouting Tools Commissioner Tools

Hi There
I am ACC for the Laurel Highlands Council. Earlier today I was working within Commissioner Tools without any issues. Within the last (10) minutes - I am locked out of the following:
Commissioner Tools
Training Manager
Roster
In the menu ribon I see tiny locks next to the items I listed above.
I am using windows 11 - Browser is Chrome. I have cleared the cache several times + rebooted my desktop severl times. If there is system problem, I need to know ASAP.
error message: You do not have permission to access the specified resource.

Please Advise

Just logged in, accessed Commissioner Tools with no issues. I might suggest you consider using the “Incognito Mode” when you access My.Scouting. That seems to work best. Press Ctril+Shift+N or choose the three dots in the upper right, and select from there.

Just wondering, when is your council’s recharter?

Hi Ron

I get the same results in Incognito Mode. All of the unit charters expire on 12/31/2023.
I just received a call from another ACC having similar problems.
There must be something going on. This is the wrong time for this to happen.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Your Log in is not Locked out? your AKELA account has a few odd things from council? Must be a Commish Tools issue

We need some other folks to weigh in. My Council is 12/31 as well, and I’m not seeing an issue. So this could be specific to your council.

It worked for me. I am an assistant roundtable commissioner.

Vern - can you give me an update today (Sunday). Does the issue still exist?

For now, it appears that everything is stable. But there is still something wrong.
Please look at my screenshot. My Commissioner Tool & Training menu listing still shows
a tiny lock. Several weeks ago, I had access to the position manager.
Now that has disappeared.

Vern -

I see the locks, but can you access the tools?

And unless you are a CoR or CC you shouldn’t have access to Position Manager.

I don’t think they are locks. I think they are circles with a tiny generic person silhouette on them.
