Lost access to add/edit SB Plus

Hi, I am having issues with my access, I can no longer can add and edit anything related to activities adding them to the system, updating attendance, etc. I use Google Chrome, have cleared cache and have been given all the permissions I should have and still have no access. Anyone have ideas?

@DanicaPedicone you might be confusing 2 actions.

Are you talking about Logs (Activities) - in T252B and C1923 - you should be able to do anything.

In Calendar for both units I do not see that you have permissions - so your Key 3 would need to check that

Apologies for jumping into this message but I have a similar problem. I have been managing our troop calendar under the Troop Admin role, but no longer have access to the calendar. It looks like there’s a new position called Calendar Editor and I’ve asked one of our Key 3 members to assign that role to me, but we can’t find it as a position option. Should I still be able to edit the calendar as Troop Admin, or do I need to be assigned a new position? Thanks!

@ScottDembek - see this

A major focus of the migration to Scoutbook Plus is to have positions mirror the positions shown in My.Scouting to ensure positions were reflected accurately in both platforms. The main purpose it to honor the guidance of our charter organizations and the positions they approve. Therefore, Scoutbook Plus does not use Legacy Scoutbook positions. Registered positions are used to provide base permissions. Some additional permissions can be added by the unit, however, there are restrictions on what can be given. See the updated Scoutbook_Permissions.pdf and the Scoutbook Plus permissions video for more details.

Calendar editor is a functional role

So sorry for the delay and I appreciate the assistance. In both units, one of the key three has given me the rights, multiple times so I don’t know what the issue is. Perhaps could you give a specific run down on how to do that as this has been ongoing and we can’t get it to work so I don’t know if they are doing it in a way that won’t allow it to ‘stick’?
Thanks

Yes, we do have the updated info and we have updated in Scoutbook Plus, per the guidelines but the permissions aren’t sticking as it keeps going back to not having permissions.

To clarify, I manage the calendar, adding activities, meetings, etc and the activity logs as well, which also includes adding participants etc. All of which I acan no longer perform, I get the 304 error.

Are you creating multi-unit events and activities? If so, I’d suggest doing a test in each unit individually so we can pinpoint where the issue is.

No, I just work with multiple units, their activities and info don’t conjoin or cross over between each other. However, they may have fixed something because it randomly started working in the middle of our meeting last night
