Bug Fixes

  • Cub Scout Adventures
    • Cub Scout Adventures that are auto-approved (all requirements approved) will now show the name of the individual who approved the last requirement as the approver for the adventure instead of BSA Administrator.
  • Merit Badges
    • Merit Badges that are auto-approved (all requirements approved) will now show the name of the individual who approved the last requirement as the approver for the adventure instead of BSA Administrator.

New Features

  • Send Purchase Order to Scout Shop - DO NOT USE
    • Purchase Orders can now be sent to the Official BSA® Scout Shop by clicking on
      image After placing an order, the Purchase Order will automatically be closed.
      Limitations:
      • There is NO way to cancel items sent via Add PO Items to Cart. The PO will be locked and cannot be changed, edited or deleted in Scoutbook. The only way to fix this currently is to actually purchase the items. We recommend NOT using this feature until the ability to cancel the cart has been implemented. Fixed May 10, 2023
      • Items can only be added to the cart to be shipped. Units are responsible for shipping costs. Units can still print an advancement report to purchase items at a local Scout Shop.
      • If items are not in stock, a warning message will be displayed on the Purchase Order page. Listed items must be deleted from the Purchase Order before the Add PO Items to Cart is clicked again to order remaining items. Deleted items are returned to the Needs Purchase report.
      • There is no provision for tax exempt units to avoid paying sales tax.
