Mom has had an existing Member ID 14131090 which does not appear to be connected to her Scout ID 134523584. She just joined our committee as Treasurer and was assigned a new ID 141691271. Can these be merged and have one account connected to her Scout?
Member IDs can’t be merged only managed. I’ll investigate and let you know how this can be resolved.
The reason she got a new MID is the 090 MID has a different last name from the 271 MID and had no DOB. I was able to fix the DOB.
She has 2 my.scouting.org IDs that need to be merged. Let us know if she wants to keep the ID that is the part of her e-mail address before the @ or her first initial followed by the last name on the 090 MID. We can make either work.
After we know which my.scouting.org ID to keep we can get the accounts cleaned up.
You should contact your Council and ask them to use the Relationship tab of Registrar Tools to add MID 134523584 as child of MID 141691271.
She would like to continue with the new ID 141691271 since she did legally change her name and it is correct with this ID. I will follow up with council on adding her child. Thank you!
@ErinBarrett we need to know which username they want to keep. It can attach the correct member number to either one.
Oh, please keep the ID that is the part of her e-mail address before the @
