Merit Badge Counselor unable to update or access scouts badges or progress

After many frustrating hours of going through the forum posts, trying to figure out why I cannot update or even access scouts in “connections” that I have been working with. I have tried everything suggested, including going to legacy, restarting, and so on, but nothing has worked. I have had no success with technical support either, as there have been zero responses on that front. I have notified the parents and scouts of these issues in updating their progress and signing off on completed merit badges.

I am at a loss here from the lack of support, updates, and information that is not available. This is very frustrating and has become stressful to me because these scouts work very hard to earn these merit badges, and it is a great way to keep the scouts motivated and interested in scouting.

@RobertMontalvo - you need to go to scoutbook.scouting.org then dashboard and there should be a My Merit Badge menu section. YOU CAN NOT USE the connections part of legacy scoutbook.

Thank you, I was able to access it. Another issue came up, though. I have a scout who has completed 2 merit badges, and I was only able to enter 1 as completed, and the scout doesn’t show up under the other merit badge, even though we have already been connected.

That means you are not connected as an MBC - do you have the Scouts Member# (no names) @
