Merit Badge - removing completion

The Scout’s dad marked Oceanography merit badge as complete, by marking requirement 8 complete. It is not complete - he visited an aquarium, but has not written the report. I can’t take the completion date out - I get the error to remove the requirement 8 completion. But I don’t have the ability to remove the date/uncheck that box. It isn’t available to me. I’m an Advancement Chair with all the permissions. Please advise.

You need to click the Chevron by the Sub-requirement that is completed so it’s date opens

I didn’t have that option ^.

I did find a way - I went back to Scoutbook Legacy, merit badges, and went in as a merit badge counselor (even though I’m not an Oceanography MB counselor) and was able to uncheck the box.
