Can someone please tell me how to move a scout that has turned 18 up to the adult leadership. Do I just cancel his scout membership and start him as an adult membership? Also the same if a scout ages out, do I just stop/cancel hi membership?

First, make sure all of the Scout’s advancement has been recorded in Scoutbook. Have the Scout complete an adult application (make sure you include his BSA Member ID on the application).
Once he is on your roster as an adult leader, his Scoutbook account should automatically be converted. If it is not, send an e-mail with your unit number, his name and BSA Member ID to scoutbook.support@scouting.org asking for his account to be converted.

Also go to the Scout’s Leadership page, and put a Date Ended on any current leadership positions.
