Change a Scout (Eagle'd out and aged out) to a leader

Good afternoon,

How do you change a Scout that earned his Eagle and then aged out to an Assistant Scoutmaster?

Also, make sure that their name on the adult app includes their “youth” BSA ID number and that their name and DOB match how it’s shown in Scoutbook. That should be enough to “match up” the two records so they don’t end up with a “new” Scoutbook account. Also, if they already have a my.scouting.org account, then they should be able to log into that and retrieve their name, BSA ID and information to make sure it matches on the adult app.
