Multi-Council Reg Scoutbook Issues

In the midst of a move, I maintained registration for myself and a son between Far East and Narragansett Councils. This cross council registration caused problems during membership renewal for myself and my sons. I have now fully moved to Narragansett and want to make this the primary account (141257677); however, when I set it as the default account it drops linkage to my two sons (141470646 and 141260700) and visibility of the local troop in Scoutbook (Troop 152, Narragansett Council). My FEC account (137381878) appears to be the main linked account and shows my new Narragansett membership as a previous ID which appears to be the root of the problem. If I set the Narragansett account as default in my.scouting, it’s active, but a shell.

My son has a similar problem with his accounts (137381877 to 141260700). All his data has transferred correctly, but he loses connection to my account. If he adjusts his default account to Narragansett (141260700), doesn’t appear to shift his primary membership on Scoutbook either. It still reflects his FEC membership as the primary.

Any help would be appreciated. I just want to make our Narragansett accounts primary, linked, so we can end our dual council registrations.

Thank you —

Josh A.

@JoshuaAnderson5 ok that is all fixed - you and your scouts do not want to play with Primary MID - as all is set

I recommend that you contact your local council and ask them to use the Registrar Tools to look up your children. When they look up your children, they want to check your children’s “User Relationship” and make sure that your children are connected to you as parent with Only your correct BSA member ID number

Terrific! Thank you, I really appreciate the help.
