New Adult Leader Missing from Scoutbook Roster

Hello-

I’ve been waiting over a week to see if Scoutbook would resolve itself regarding a new Adult Leader who is missing from our Pack’s roster. Our leadership team has not received any emails indicating an issue with their background check.

A few days after their application was accepted, I briefly saw them appear on our roster and attempted to add them to a Den. However, I immediately received an error message, and shortly thereafter they disappeared from the roster entirely.

Could you please advise on the best way to resolve this issue?

@BradleyRawls - are they on the roster at my.scouting.org ? That is the official roster location.

The CBC sometimes take some time

They do not appear on the official roster.

@BradleyRawls- that would always be the first place to check. So it is most likely CBC if this was a paper application. No bug on this one.

The leader will not appear on the Scoutbook Plus roster until 24 hours after they appear on the official roster at my.scouting.org.

Criminal Background Checks must now be returned before a leader can be added to the official roster. I have seen CBCs take a few weeks. It all depends on the backlog and if the CBC returns with anything that requires Council staff to investigate. For example a previous DUI/DWI will trigger a Council review.

Thank you all for the replies. My Council was able to fix the error.
