New Scout Added to Calendar Events Are Automatically Made "No" for RSVP

When a cub scout signs up with the Pack for the first time and gets added to the roster and then is automatically added to the den meeting events entered in the calendar, that scout is automatically rsvp’d as “NO” by the system for those meetings. When that happens the new scout will not receive any reminders for the event because when you rsvp “no” the system will not email you reminders. The only solution is to go meeting by meeting changing the rsvp to maybe so the family will get meeting reminders via email.

A similar issue with the system is it will automatically select “no” for the rsvp when a leader is added back to a den for events on the calendar. I found this issue when I was testing the need for adult leaders to have to be part of the den to be invited and count as 2 deep for event purposes. I removed myself from a den where I have a child and was invited to the den meetings as an adult/leader for that den. When I added myself back to that den, the system automatically added me back to the events, but selected “no” for the rsvp option. Again, the above issue with reminders is the main concern, and this is a minor issue compared to the cub scouts who are brand new signing up and being excluded from meeting reminders for calendar events because the system is automatically selecting “no” when they are added to the roster and moved to their dens on events already in the system.

@AndrewPlatte so this is a scout that came into the event through the system, no admin actions?

That is correct, the system automatically added him to the event once we added him to the den and it made his rsvp “no” without any admin/parent/scout action.

Yes I reproduced it and reported it
