New Scout not Adding to Events

Greetings,

I am trying to add existing calendar events to a newly joined scout(141976494) thru Scoutbook Legacy utilizing the “Add New Invitees to Events” link(Chrome Feature Assistant extension is active)

I am able to select the correct calendar and events. All of the current Leaders, Parents and Members appear after selecting events. Once I select the scout mentioned above(or any other scout - tried a few different ones) I receive the following error and 0 events are added to the scout selected:

This has been done with and without Internet Advancement and/or Scoutbook Plus running in the backgroud. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have also tried to achieve the same goal utilizing firefox but no luck there either. Thank you in advance.

@JasonMeske- there is already an add new scouts in the events at advancements.scouting.org

I appreciate the quick reply. Unfortunately I am unable to find an option to “Add New Scouts” under events. I followed the link you provided and it took me to the roster pager on SB+ Can you please provide a bit more detail on where the option is located please?

For any given event in the calendar, you can select whether to have it auto-add new scouts or not.

@JasonMeske The extension needs Scoutbook Plus running. It will try to open it in the background if it does not detect it.

The error indicates it is having an issue communicating with Scoutbook Plus.

You might try opening Scoutbook Plus and trying again, or clearing cache in it.

I have the “Future” option selected for our packs events and the scout referenced in the OP was unfortunately not added to the events. I have also cleared the cache, restarted chrome, uninstalled/reinstalled the extension, have attempted to add the scout to events with Scoutbook Plus open and restarted my computer with no luck. I have had luck with utilizing the feature in the past but currently it is giving me a hard time.

Hrm. I’m just a unit ASM, so I don’t have any “under the hood access” to see what else might be going on. Maybe one of the SUAC can see if there’s anything odd with the scout’s account or yours that might be generating an issue.

I’ve been assuming that the scout already appears in the my.scouting and SB+ rosters. If that’s incorrect, please advise.

Future only adds new members when they arrive. Setting the check box after they are members won’t add them.

If Gary’s suggestion doesn’t work, let him know.

I have tried with Scoutbook Plus open and have cleared the cache as well as uninstalled and reinstalled the extension.

Futures were checked prior to the scout joining.

What is the Scout’s Scouting America Member ID (no names)?

Appreciate the help. Scout does appear in my.scouting and SB+ rosters

141976494 is the specific scout I am having issues with but I tried with other scouts to see if it was an isolated issue but I receive the same error from other scouts as well as parents or leaders
