Notes for Award have still not been migrated to scoutbook plus/internet advancement what ever we are calling it now. We have several Scouts we are tracking the Outdoor Achievement Awards and were making extensive use of the notes. Two to 3 in particular are close to completing and we no longer have access to the notes. Could someone please let u know how to get access to the Award notes? This is very frustrating.
Post the Scouting America Member IDs (no names) of the Scouts and awards where notes are missing. We will have the developers look at these cases.

Hi Ed,
Would you also be able to check about importing NOAA awards & devices notes for scout at ID# 130882526?
This is an Eagle scout that will age out early in 2026. His profile page and report confirm he earned & was awarded the NOAA medal, NOAA Adventure, Aquatics, Camping, Conservation, and Hiking segments, the NOAA medal, and multiple NOAA devices. But sadly, most of his NOAA device completions & all of the NOAA notes disappeared in the migration to Scoutbook Plus … including for in-progress devices.
Of most immediate concern, he has completed Aquatics gold device #2 and will complete Camping Gold Device #5 soon, but can’t enter this in the Awards section without the prior device completions and notes.
- Is there a way to recover the NOAA awards/devices-earned info & notes so he can continue to earn and enter that info until aging out?
- I’d appreciate any help or advice you can offer (even if it’s just to say we’ll need to re-enter it all manually and get the advancement chair to mark off the previously earned items so that he can complete the in-progress devices before aging out .).

@KimberlyScheidt all those awards are in the scout record - do they not appear in SB+?

They appear if you run the Scout’s report, and if you look at the profile page they appear in the photos (if you hover, you see completion dates for them). But when you go to the Awards section, which is where you enter completion data for the ones in progress, most of this is missing. For example:
Scout has earned NOAA Center Emblem and it shows as “not started" (this one was earned when first segment was completed).
Scout has earned NOAA Camping Segment (this shows as completed on Awards page, but notes are missing). He has earned NOAA Camping Device 1 (gold), 2 (gold), 3 (gold), 4 (silver) and is nearly done with 5 (gold). But the Awards page shows all these Camping devices as “not started” and is missing all the notes with the Camping dates.
Scout has earned NOAA Aquatics segment (this shows as completed but notes are missing). He has completed NOAA Aquatics device 1 (gold) and has the hours to complete #2 (gold). But the Awards page shows all Aquatics devices as “not started” and is missing all of the notes with the Aquatics hours.
It’s a similar situation for the Adventure, Conservation, and Hiking NOAA segments and devices and missing notes. But he is most concerned at present with the Aquatics and Camping, since he has completions to enter for devices.
For these NOAA devices the scout must enter notes reflecting the details of the additional days camped, hours swum, miles hiked, etc. since the previous device was earned so the advancement chair can review/approve it. Since SB+ has “erased” his earlier earned devices and notes, he can’t enter what he has done for the most recent devices.
So the issue is not as much that they are not showing in the overall record/report, but that (1) the Awards section did not carry over his earlier device entries from Scoutbook Legacy, and (2) without this info showing in SB+, he does not know any way to make entries for additional completions, other than in the Awards section.
