Our troop uses the payment log balance message every month to gently remind families when they have a balance due.
Anyone else using it? Just tried to send out monthly reminder and when I click “Preview Balance Message” nothing happens…
If I go straight to “Send Balance Message” it appears to work but completes immediately, popping up the “Email sent to:” with a blank list. It doesn’t appear any emails are actually sent.
Do the latest changes to migrate capabilities to Scoutbook Plus (including the new payment log feature in Scoutbook Plus) means this Feature Extension is now broken?
The new payment log capabilities in Scoutbook Plus seem fine but I don’t think have any way to send a payment reminder. Have I missed something?

Sending balances to family members was part of the Feature Assistant Extension. This capability has not yet been migrated to Scoutbook Plus. There is a story in the backlog to add this capability. We do not know when it will be scheduled for development work.

Thanks Ed - payment logs are still available in legacy Scoutbook and the feature extension seems to have stopped working there. Is that by design?
@GeoffreyMaxwell - do not use the payment logs in legacy scoutbook. That would not work out well

@GeoffreyMaxwell - if the scouts or parents log in they can see the balance owed or credit due right on the profile page.
All extension features are highly dependent on the content structure delivered in legacy pages. When the page content structure changed to replace legacy links to logs on that page to links to SB+ logs, the extension became unable to collect information needed for the feature to work.
Given that the feature will be available in SB+, I do not have plans to expend the effort to update the extension to fix it.
