Send Balance Message sending incorrect blances

I tried the new 'Sending Balance Message" feature in Scoutbook Plus. It sent out messages to everyone, but did not send the correct balance amount to anyone.

It would also be nice if we could just individually select the families we need to send balances to by clicking the checkboxes that are next to the name in addition to sending out balances that are less than or above a specific amount. (Or having the ability to uncheck them once selected.)

Also, even though I did not have “sender copy” selected, Scoutbook Plus still sent me a copy of everyone’s balance email I sent everyone.
Anyone have these issues, too?

@StephanieFrancis1 - what amount did it send out compared to the balance shown in the payment log ? Perhaps a screen of the email and the log balance

In Send Balances, if you click on the Recipients link you get a list where you can set a balance and select recipients. Have you tried that? Does it meet your needs?

We are looking into the the Sender Copy issue.

For one person, they should have had a positive balance of $240, but it only showed $82; for another it sent that they owed $350 but really only owed $240.

I used this feature. The issue is that it sent the WRONG balances to people.

This is what I did. Scoutbook sent the WRONG numbers for the balances.

Here is a screenshot of my son’s account and what Scoutbook sent me . He has $270 in his account, but the email Scoutbook Plus sent me shows he only has $82.75.

@StephanieFrancis1 - thank you. I wonder as a test if you go to reports then click on new report and use report builder designer, select your scout only then check off show payment balance if you get the same 82.75. I am suspecting it will. My guess is that it is pulling the payment log balance prior to the move to plus from legacy.

It shows the $270.

@Stephen_Hornak Any other ideas? My son’s generated report shows the actual amount he has on his account of $270, not the amount sent when I did the “Send Balance Message”.

@Stephen_Hornak does the dev team need additional examples? I also found that the balances are incorrect in the emails for some scouts.
