I had an open purchase order in old scoutbook. Now that Advancements have been moved to scoutbook plus it is not listed as an open purchase order. When I look at “To Award” I see purchase order 1014654 but when I click on it I get “Purchase Order does not belong to the organization”
@JosephReding so when you click link of the PO # you get the error?
Same results in incognito mode
Yes error box says “Purchase order does not belong to the organization”
I am having this problem, too. I need to be at my local Scout Shop right now picking up awards for an advancement ceremony this weekend and I no longer have access to the purchase order I was working on.
I am having the same problem. See my separate post. Apparently the migration occurred right while I was working on the reports. I cannot access the PO I created only 1 hour ago, and I need to go the Scout Shop this afternoon.
The developers are aware. We hope to have access to POs opened in legacy Scoutbook restored later today.
I have lost access with this error: “Your position(s) and related permissions do not allow you to perform this action”, and have lost access to my current purchase order. What do I need to do to gain access?
There is a known issue with existing POs. The developers are working on a fix.
Are you able to help with the error: “Your position(s) and related permissions do not allow you to perform this action” I don’t have access to any advancement reports in Scoutbook Plus.
We believe that is a false error if you are a Key 3, Key 3 Delegate, Unit Advancement Chair in my.scouting.org or a unit admin in legacy Scoutbook and the system will still function.
Advancement reports can be downloaded from closed POs. The developers are aware they need to put the Advancement Report function on open POs.
It looks like open Purchase Orders are now appearing in Scoutbook Plus, but there are still numerous issues with them. Here is my feedback thus far:
- Downloadable PDFs of all Purchase Orders (open or closed) are blank
- The notes field has a character limit of 200, which is much too short, and appears to be a limit that did not exist on the old Scoutbook, so existing notes longer than that cannot be edited at all
- Purchase order reports are paginated, but the number of items per page cannot be changed, so one cannot view the entire report on a single page.
- When items are grouped by Item Type or Youth, the groupings are placed into accordion elements which are collapsed by default, and must all be opened manually in order to view the full report when grouped.
- There is no sorting functionality in the report table. Items do not seem to be sorted in any logical order, whether grouped or ungrouped, which makes organization difficult.
- There is no confirmation step when deleting items from a purchase order, so items can easily be accidentally removed without realizing it.
I have not seen #1. When I downloaded closed POs (I don’t have any that are open) there was data in the files.
I’ll pass these issues on to the developers.
I just tried it on a closed PO again and this time it worked fine. It may have been a transient error. But open POs are blank.
I just created a new PO using Scoutbook Plus. It accepted the 4 advancement items, but never created a PO! No error, but also no PO.
OK - if you had a PO in Legacy that is not showing - go to SB+ > Purchasing > go to Open PO > Edit/View Order > Delete EVERYTHING from PO > then CLOSE the PO > Go back to Purchasing and the Legacy PO should then be there where you can add everything back that you just deleted.
I was able to open my previous open PO via scoutbook plus, and download the purchase report, but I did not see and advancement report button. I closed the PO and reopened the closed po and found an advancement report. It is still not right, but getting closer.
This advice worked. I tried it just now. How do we create an advancement report now in Scoutbook Plus? I only see ways to create a PO in Scoutbook Plus. Legacy Scoutbook had a good way to auto-populate an advancement report in this form: https://filestore.scouting.org/filestore/pdf/34403.pdf
