I have a large troop that with over 225 awards to be presented at our Fall CoH. In Scoutbook Plus I printed out an Advancement Report to take to the Scoutshop to purchase the awards. I did not create nor did I close any purchase orders. Now I cannot get those awards added to a purchase order so that I may print to the Merit Badge Certificates. I can see the shopping baskets next to each of the Scouts’ Awards in the Troop recognition report. I can see open purchase order numbers there as well. I cannot get to a purchase order. When I go to the reports tab in Scoutbook plus it tells me I haven’t created any reports yet and I have no purchase history. .(I have. We’ve been using SB since it’s inception.) Please help me get the items back into an open Purchase Order, FYI-I did the hard refresh. It didn’t help.
@EmilieReese SB+ opens and closes the PO at the same time (Use Scoutbook for now is my advise for Approve/Purchase/Award). Go to Scoutbook > Unit > Reports > Purchase report - the one made is SB+ will be a closed PO - you can print for Purchase and print Certs there
Why did you use scoutbook plus for this? The full service advancement process for troops is in classic Scoutbook. Only Packs should be using Scoutbook Plus.
Thank you. I’ve tried that. The “needs purchasing report” is empty. The closed PO’s go back to Sept 2023. Nothing thereafter for out B Unit. There are 5 closed PO’s for the G Unit so it looks like the system is working there. It’s not working at all for the B Unit at all. I can see the shopping carts next to all of the awards in the recognition report. Just can’t get to any purchase orders. I sure would like to see the printing to certificates located in the recognition report area rather than the purchase area, but right now I’d like to have the option anywhere. Arghhh.

Because Scoutbook Plus is Internet Advancement!! Since when are Troops not supposed to use Internet Advancement ?!?!?
@EmilieReese does your Troop use a 3rd Party tracking system?
The only things troops should use SB+ for are the calendar, editing profiles and uploading advancement from 3rd party tools such as Troopmaster. Everything else should be done in Legacy Scoutbook.
We do but I input everything manually. I do not upload from TM to SB.
@EmilieReese if not importing - SB would work better for you at this level of development. See if you can get a PO number off the Scoutbook Needs Awarding Report for the missing PO
So, I am no longer supposed to use internet advancement. I am supposed to be a mind reader and know this how? Internet Advancement was created for Troops. I’ve been around a long time. I am not new to IA. Perhaps, there should be a popup for troops to let us know this? In any case I need help. Are you willing to help or just to chastise me?
I can get the number. What do I do with it?

There was never an announcement saying IA should be used for Troop advancement except for importing from a 3rd party tool. You were apparently given bad information.
NEVER is a very strong word. I gave presentations on how to use Internet Advancement to my district and Council when it was instituted BEFORE Scoutbook. Please just stop. You aren’t helping me.

I have gone back in and checked every scout to make sure they are getting the right merit badges but I now have to write out all the cards by hand.
