Relationship Verification - aged out scout - bug on connection

My son aged out six years ago. He’s still shown a youth in scoutbook+ (but not the scoutbook roster for any of his old units), and now scoutbook+ is nagging me about relationship status.

Interestingly, on advancements.scouting.org he shows as “active” and when I hover over that it says “Registration: New Date: 2018-08-22 to 2028-08-23”. I’m a Key3 for the Venturing unit he was last registered in, so I tried to add mom to relationships, and got the following error:

Any clues what’s going on?

I suspect the error is because your son is not registered. You should not be getting the verification e-mail for aged out Scouts. I’ll report this to the developers.

The 8/22/18-8/23/28 dates are for his NESA membership.
