RSVP Report showing status "Not Invited"

Hello,

When I pull an RSVP report, it shows some unexpected information such as:

  1. some of the adults (both leaders and non-leader parents) were “Not Invited” despite being on the original list of invitees.
  2. Some leaders have an asterisk showing they are not leaders, but they are.
  3. I run the report for “yes” responses and many random “No” responses are included but only in the adults section.

If you can pull Troop 320’s (Flourtown, PA) RSVP report from the 4/26 trip, you will see what I’m seeing.

@ColleenSchaffer - I am not sure the SUAC can run an RSP for your unit. Are those with an asterisk showing on the roster at my.scouting.org

Yes, they are current committee members.

My biggest concern is that the youth who do not use email yet rely on their parents getting the invitations to upcoming events and some of them are listed as “Not Invited.”

Also, I just ran that report again and if I change the check boxes at the top (Yes, No, etc) it changes the leadership designation asterisk.

After another look, it appears to me that the adults who are listed, even if I check sort for “no” responses are the parents of the youth who said yes. Some of them are listed an “Not Invited.”

@ColleenSchaffer if you want us to look at something
On the report there is an REF#
Then give the Member # (no names) of those Invited to the Calendar Event - but showing Not Invited.
Then maybe we can piece something together.

I have 10 “Not Invited” Parents on that list. Here are two parent IDs:

140918738

140841691

A third parent, not invited, is listed on the invitee list, and I know he is a dad, but when I go his youth, the dad is not listed as a relationship, so I can’t find a number for him. Mom (141485559) is listed as the relationship and was invited. Youth is 141485560

@ColleenSchaffer ok it sounds like old SB Connections for Parents are being used - #1 - if there is no relationship - that is something your unit should clean up by adding them under the scout Profile in SB+.

You are unclear - 140918738 & 140841691 - ARE on the invite list for the Calendar Event?

My apologies for the confusion. Those 2 parent IDs 140918738 and 140841691 were on the original list of invitees on the calendar event. When I run the RSVP report, they are listed as “Not Invited.”

I will work with the family to clean up the connections.
