Safeguarding youth protection pie chart in my.scouting showing some expired yet report shows everyone up to date. Anyone who expired with the 5/31/26 date has taken their training. I’m trying to figure out why the two don’t match.
@LoriLudas this is a talk to council issue - at one point some things had 90 days before expire and some had 60 days.
It is and it isn’t. As the Council Training Chair, this is something that I need to delve into deeper to find out why reports aren’t matching so that when units contact us, we can give a better answer. Currently the only answer is that the pie chart is preemptively assuming people will expire and saying they are expired whereas reality still gives them 60-90 days. I think this is a glitch in the system so people will need to be cautious when seeing this inconsistency.
Only councils can open a ticket with Member Care to have the discrepancy investigated and if necessary, fixed. This is why this is a talk to council issue. The SUAC and others who monitor the forums do not have the ability to open tickets or report issues with these reports.
