Hi, Scoutbook Plus had errors while signing off one of our scouts on Firem’n Chit. I was eventually able to sign off Firem’n Chit, and now it is showing the scout having completed Firem’n Chit five times:
Starting yesterday afternoon, it took me several tries to enter his completion–several attempts via quick entry (first tried signing off several scouts at once, then just this scout via quick entry, and then just this scout by entering the completion date directly on the Firem’n Chit screen). Sometimes there was a pop-up error message (sorry, I didn’t get a screenshot), and sometimes the operation just hung/froze for a while, then seemed to finish, but the award wasn’t signed off. When I viewed the scout’s awards, it showed four Firem’n Chits for that scout: three not started, and one partially complete. Here’s a screenshot I took at that time:
As I say, I did finally get Scoutbook Plus to accept my sign-off a few minutes ago, and now it is showing five of them, all complete:
As far as I can tell, this issue affects only one of the scouts. The previous errors when trying to sign this off happened for both quick entry and direct entry. I don’t think the extra awards are causing any problems at this point, other than looking strange, but:
- I can’t figure out how to delete them; it would be great if you could make the “extra” Firem’n Chits disappear from the scout’s account
- It did take me several tries over 24 hours before I eventually got SB Plus to accept the sign-off – just for this scout, not for the others I successfully signed off yesterday
- I hope this bug report might be helpful for you in tracking down the cause of both of these issues
