Scout-to-parent links in my.scouting.org

Hello,

I have two different families that say they cannot see their scout’s membership in my.scouting.org. Please link:
Scout 13387006 to parent 13387033
Scout 133216285 to parent 12493698 (might be currently linked to one of his mother’s accounts, but the family asked to link the scout to the father who is also a registered leader)

Thanks,
Mike

@MichaelNewman1 only Councils can do this - I recommend that They contact your local council and ask them to use the Registrar Tools to look up the children. When they look up the children, they want to check children’s “User Relationship” and make sure that children are connected to parent with Only the correct BSA member ID number that the parent can log into

What if my council’s registrar refuses to talk to me? (rhetorical to you, my problem)

@MichaelNewman1 then talk to your Council Scout Executive how their lack of action is costing them scout registrations - only councils can fix this

I have a similar issue. I have contacted my local council numerous times but no one can resolve it.
Scout #12013899

@StephanieMigdel that is not a Scout’s BSA # - please check

@StephanieMigdel if you posted the SB User # of scout (which we think you did) - the scout is connected to both father and mother - and the Scout IS Renewed through 12/31/25

That is the only number he has right now. He had a BSA number until our renewal.
The scout’s account says he doesn’t match with a Scout in your Units official roster. I think this is due to the fact that he is listed as his own parent.
I have contacted my council who has brought the issue to national and it still isn’t resolved. This AOL needs to access his account ASAP.

OH yes forgot that got mixed up - give me a few

@StephanieMigdel ok that should be good now

OMG Thank you! I have been working with council for 2 months on this. His account finally looks good. I left a message for the parents to log in and double check.
