I am a Merit Badge Counselor, and I was attempting to click on a Scout’s name to review which merit badges he has completed with me. When I try to view the Scout’s profile, I receive a message indicating that I need to connect to the Scout, even though the Scout is already listed under my connections.
To make sure this wasn’t an issue with just one Scout, I attempted to view the profiles of other Scouts I am connected with and encountered the same issue across all of them. I find the profile view tool very helpful, as it allows me to see information such as the Scout’s rank and other relevant details. here is the
This is not the process to edit merit badges. You need to use the Merit Badge Counselor tools on the My Dashboard upper left corner.
If you are only connected to the scout as a MBC, you won’t have access to the other advancement or profile information for the scout. The access permissions have been completely revamped and profiles and rank advancement are now only accessible in SB+.
