Scoutbook Legacy link in Scoutbook Plus

I just saw that scoutbook.scouting.org now points to advancements.scouting.org, and that you can access Scoutbook Legacy via the link in Scoutbook Plus. However, clicking that link takes me to scoutbook.scouting.org, which then redirects to advancements.scouting.org.

@EdwardBruce we think the full update is not done running - we are checking.

The link is working now!

How did you make it work? Or is the Scoutbook completely gone now? Anything I try, all the links now take me to https://advancements.scouting.org. I can’t find where I’d look up the date when a scout started with the troop, and how to send emails to everyone in the troop… I don’t know if all the other functions that we used to have on Scoutbook are there.

@NadezhdaAnikeev The best place to look up when a Scout started with your troop is in the Application Manager at my.Scouting or by using the Record of Change report.

Scoutbook (legacy) is still available, although most functions have moved to Scoutbook Plus. To get to Scoutbook (legacy), log in to Scoutbook Plus, and then click on “Scoutbook Legacy” on the left side.

Thank you! Application Manager only shows me the last 90 days. I appreciate the guidance for where to find the Scoutbook - I found the scout’s dates in there. He has 1 month of membership missing in the middle… he moved to our troop in November, but the record shows he wasn’t a member from March 1 to March 31 of this year - is that something that is okay for me to fix manually through Scoutbook or do I have to go through Council? Scoutbook has the same editable fields there as when I end or start a leadership role for a scout.

@NadezhdaAnikeev You can change the dates on the Application Manager by clicking on the filter icon. Or you can use the Record of Change report to see.

Was the Scout in the grace period?

@NadezhdaAnikeev @EdwardBruce - there is very little reason to be in legacy scoutbook. You might as well work only in advancements.scouting.org

@NadezhdaAnikeev

What is the Scout’s Scouting America Member ID (no names).

@NadezhdaAnikeev You should be looking at My.Scouting.org Roster - not Application Manager - if they are not on the roster there they are not registered
