ScoutNET to be Retired

The BSA will be retiring the ScoutNET computer system soon (scheduled for Jan 3, 2022.) This system was primarily used by councils. ScoutNET was fundamental to administering units, finances and advancements. It is a system that was put in place in 1998 and has served the BSA faithfully over the years, however it is now outdated and has to be retired.

Tools based in my.Scouting have been and are being developed for councils to use in the administration of their work and in support of the units they work with. With the retirement of ScoutNET, advancements will only have to be synchronized between my.Scouting and Scoutbook, thus streamlining the process and eliminating points of failure.
