Scouts BSA Parent "leader approved" rank

Scouts BSA Parent is not registered leader and is connected to their Scout with “Parent/Guardian” only. Parent accidentally approved their scout’s 2nd Class rank as “leader approved” (back in mid-May but only noticed now)

I found this old thread (Parent approval of advancement; marking leader approved) but its says similar issue was resolved

Post the BSA Member ID of the Scout (no names) and we will investigate.

thanks. Is it safe to clear out the date and rank approval? Didn’t want to erase any data which might help investigation

If the Scout did not earn the rank, you can clear it out.
