Our troop is experimenting with dropping sign up genius in favor of using the RSVP function in the Scoutbook calendar. My son received an error when he attempted to RSVP himself, stating that he did not have permission to access scout book plus. Most of our older scouts RSVP themselves and our scouts utilize the RSVP to meal plan and remind scouts who have not RSVP’d. If they do not have calendar access then an adult has to give them access every time. Is this my user error, or an actual scout book calendar restriction on the youth?
Is this your son with first initial K or Z? Is he invited to the event?
If it is Z, have him try again. His Member ID on his my.scouting.org ID did not look correct as it was missing the council number. I have fixed this so he may be able to get into SB+ now.
