Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
Is there a way to generate certificates for Scouts for their service hours directly from Scoutbook? We currently provide manual certificates at each Court of Honor (COH), listing the number of hours and the activity the Scout worked on. It shows a great appreciation to the scouts. Please let us know.
This could be applicable for camping hours and hiking hours too.
A lot of schools have community service requirements, for example, so I’ve filled out forms for those many times over the years. Usually, the school wants their own form used, in my experience. So, I’m not sure that our school district would accept a SB+ printout, except maybe as a supplement to their forms.
This sounds more like a different application, though.
Our unit giving out the individually printed certificates for each service hours for the scouts to encourage everyone. if there is a way to print out the total hours for a particular duration and give them a print out-that also works. I presume this kind of feature is currently not there in scout book?
I will check the history report as well. It might be helpful too. Thanks for all the quick responses.
@NishaAlex You can go to an individual Scout’s profile page in Scoutbook Plus, then click on Run Report under Activity Logs. Then select Activity Log Report, where you can enter start and end dates for the service log.
