Our Cubmaster is leaving the Pack. Last night I tried to move the current Cubmaster to Unit Scouter Reserve, and move the Assistant Cubmaster to Cubmaster. It didn’t work, and the positions are now assigned in a manner that I am unable to resolve.
Under CM I see both the old and the new CM (in my.scouting and scoutbook plus)
Under ACM I see the old ACM (my.s and SB+)
Under Unit Scouter Reserve I see the old CM
So, I have successfully put the new CM into the CM spot, and put the old CM into USR, but the system did not remove them from their old spots. Any changes I attempt trigger a warning.
If I try to change anything in my.s I get “This member is already assigned to two registered positions in this unit. Unassign one of the positions before assigning them to another position.”
If I try to change things in SB+ I either get “The following users do not have a registered position anymore. Please assign them to a registered position” (trying to remove either the old or new CM from the CM position); OR “The user has too many registered positions, remove them before trying to assign this new position” (trying to remove either the old or new CM from the CM position and add them somewhere else).
Is this something I can fix? Should I approach the fix in SB+ or my.scouting?
