SUAC is Looking for Volunteers

The Scoutbook User Advisory Council is looking for volunteers. There are a few areas we could use help in, if you are willing to look into helping, please send an email to: Bill.Nelson@scouting.org

  • Help answering questions in the forums. If you are an expert in Scoutbook, even if it is in only for one program (e.g., ScoutsBSA,) and are willing to help answer questions, this is the position for you.
  • We can use help with quality testing of new Scoutbook and Internet Advancement features. This does take some time commitment. If you have Scoutbook experience (i.e., you know how it should work,) understand one of the BSA programs (e.g., Cub Scouting) and 5 hours or so a week you can donate, please consider helping. Testers usually work around their paying job hours, and have access to our testing environment 24 x 7.
  • Help in developing user guides and presentations. OK, so your not only a techie, but you also know a little about composing an understandable sentence other Scouters can follow, please consider volunteering.

Again, if you are willing to look into helping, please send an email to: Bill.Nelson@scouting.org
