I have a file downloaded via Doubleknot.
When I ‘save as’ on the Word file into .txt I get (2) errors:
Advancement import file must be a pipe-delimited text file.
Import file must be no more than 500 records.
Are there instructions available on how to import the .csv, Excel, or Word doc into SB+? I feel like this information is missing as I have spent the past hour searching.
@RobertKrueger1 - doubleknot does not provide an import to scoutbook plus.
Correct, but they do have variations of downloads that can be imported. What I am asking is if any of these formats will work?
@RobertKrueger1 that is a quickentry - not import - situation. Doubleknot does not provide the right file type, so all the data would not even be labeled right for the system to recognize it.
@RobertKrueger1 - there is no import from doubleknot as is not formatted correctly for import
Thank you all, that’s a shame as it worked in legacy ScoutBook. You were able to import a .csv file and everything populated properly.
The import in legacy scoutbook using the extension has not changed. I don’t see how it could have worked in the past if they don’t provide a csv with the proper coding.
The Blackpug CSV can still be imported through legacy, but Doubleknot does not use the standard format needed.
@RobertKrueger1 - doubleknot has never offered a scoutbook import.
