Time Zone in Reminder Email is wrong

When the reminder email goes out we are experiencing it showing Central time instead of Eastern. I did check and noticed that the time zone hadn’t been added in the EDIT TROOP tab. I did change it to EASTERN, but when I did a fake event it shows the below.

Calendar: Troop 219 G
Event: fake event
Where: Cornerstone United Methodist Church
When: Oct 11, 2022, 5pm - 5:45pm (UTC-07:00) Mountain Time (US & Canada)

I get that I am in Salt Lake right now, but if I make the time 5pm for me, should it not change to 7pm for those viewing it in the EST?

The edit troop page controls what time zone is emailed to people. The display on the website is dependent on the time zone setting of their device.
