we need to make sure, Volunteers and Paid Staff at all levels are using the same terms and processes. Apparently Council wants a specific report for filling advancement orders, a report that we don’t know what it is nor is it readily available on Scoutbook Plus.
What is your council calling the report they’re asking for? Were they able to provide you with an example of what it looks like? Maybe the folks here can identify the report based on what it looks like.

@RobertWillhelm simply put your Council is wrong - for all restricted purchase items the Advancement Report 34403 (as Stephen points to above) is all that is needed - that is downloaded filled in from Purchase order in SB+
they want a report that was generated in the old scout book, but can not provide a sample or directions on how to get to it.
@RobertWillhelm the same report was used in Legacy - just tell the local shop you will move all purchases to Scoutshop.org then.
well our unit doesn’t have a way to make online purchases yet. As the Tittle of this thread states NATAIONAL Needs to make a Concentrated effort of proper training, for all levels.
@RobertWillhelm- i have used the advancement report for over a decade at 4 different scout shops in 4 different councils and never had an issue
Scoutbook Plus and Legacy Scoutbook generate the SAME advancement report. The only difference is if the report flows to a 2nd page, Scoutbook Plus will generate the full first page while Legacy Scoutbook produces a 2nd page that only contains the additional awards.
