Troop Reports - Timeout Error, No Reports Available

In Scoutbook, within the Dashboard → Troop context, if I click on the “Troop Reports” it was giving me a pop-up “Timeout Error” earlier. Now it is giving me a “No reports available.” message.
I’m just trying to run the standard “Needs Purchasing” and “Needs Awarding” reports.

@Shih-HsinPeng - it seems to be working fine for me.

I am getting “No reports available” from my Troop page. From the Pack page, I get the usual pop-up of options. Once I select “Needs Approval” or “Needs Purchasing” for the Pack, that report has the usual “Select Unit” radio buttons at the top of the page and I can hop over to see the Troop reports.

@ErinHack - I just tried from my work pc and the report listing pops up. I would just as a test - log out of scoutbook and log back in.

Are you running this from legacy Scoutbook (https://scoutbook.scouting.org) or Scoutbook Plus (https://advancements.scouting.org)? These reports are only available from Legacy Scoutbook.

Your issue is you are not a Troop admin for either the B or G troop. I suggest you ask a Key 3 member of your Troops to log into my.scouting.org, go to the unit roster, select Position Manager then make you Unit Advancement Chair there. 24 hours later you will have the Troop Admin positions added to Scoutbook and be able to run the reports

Alternately, a current Troop Admin can make you a Troop Admin in Scoutbook. This will take affect immediately but eventually the position should be added via my.scouting.org.

Thanks - not sure what happened there to make me drop the position. I’ll get our chair to fix it.

I am running from legacy Scoutbook (scoutbook.scouting.org). I’m an advancement chair so I run these reports pretty much every month.

For whatever reason the menu is now coming up, so the problem seems to be temporary.

I got the “No reports available” message last night during our troop meeting when I was trying to pull up the Needs Approval report. It worked fine for me this morning, so I’m guessing it was an issue of SB’s servers being overloaded on a Monday night.

It seems I still get the Timeout error sometimes. But even when I do get the menu coming up, I get an error when running the Needs Approval report most of the time. I did get it to come up once, so this is an intermittent issue:

Whoops! We encountered an error trying to process your request.
