We use Trooptrack in our Pack to manage advancements and I upload them all into Scoutbook for advancements purchasing. Somehow I missed a date on an elective that was incorrect. They were dated as completed on 10/25/2026. I got those changed…the year was incorrect. Now, the Webelos rank is showing as being approved by me on 10/25/2026 and I cannot figure out how to get it changed to the correct date. I have checked all the other completion dates and no others that I can find are 10/25/2026 but the error I am receiving is that this date reflects a required or elective completion date. I have tried backing out the electives and requirements dates and rerunning them through but that hasn’t worked. I tried removing the rank from the purchase order but that didn’t work either.
I am missing something somewhere and I can’t figure out exactly what or where it is…any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
@AmyMusser the date on a cub item has no effect on a cub. Simple answer is just to use that date. It would be alot of questions to even understand where the rank stood and all of the adventures stood to even begin to advice on how to fix it.
10.25.26 has not even occurred yet???
Yes, I couldn’t even figure out how it got all the way through without a flag somewhere with a date error. Whoever entered Archery and BB Shooting in Trooptrack put 2026 instead of 2025 and somehow it made it’s way all the way through to showing I approved it in Scoutbook on 10/25/2026.
I guess I will just have to leave it alone even though it is driving me insane…lol
I guess it shows how good TT is if it allows future dates for advancement. LOL what are you saying - “I predict the scout will be done on this date”
Yeah with Cubs dates matter much less than in the older programs. It will be fine.
For real! How did it not flag that as a future date and error out? LOL

Yeah - I see those dates on Adventures - but the scout does not have the Webelos rank
It was in there to begin with. I just haven’t put it back since I was trying to figure out how to correct that approved date. I was trying to undo some things and just haven’t put them back yet.
OK it is the dates on those 2 Elective Adventures that are defining the Webelos date. and I guess the Webelos Req 2 got stuck on old date?
That’s what it looks like happened to me and now I can’t figure out how to get it unapproved now.
@AmyMusser - you have the the two adventures corrected ? If so could you go back to the roster then back to that scout then the webelos rank to see if it changes anything ? It might not but worth a try.
@Stephen_Hornak I tried that. I currently have those 2 electives backed completely out and for some reason it is still tracking that date of 10/25/2026. When I refresh the completion date is still there in the Rank box and when I try to uncheck the marked as complete/awarded box I get an error that says that date is based on the completion dates of requirements and electives. It has somehow gotten snagged on that date and I can’t get it out.
I did finally get the rank unapproved on the advancements tab but it still won’t let me remove the date on the roster side in the rank completion box. The snag seems to be in the electives section and short of removing them all and reuploading everything I can’t think of anywhere else to look to fix it.
I decided to go in and back out all of the electives then re-enter the completion dates. It seems to have worked that way so now I can stop thinking about it.
