Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
I’m unable to advance scouts in my den. I was able to do this last year. I am listed as Den Admin for multiple Dens including Webelos. I am trying to edit Webelos Den Scout AdvancemenIam told I have been given the permissions by the Chair. When I go to Roster to edit a scout’s profile to record advancements I cannot click at all. I have tried clearing cache, restarting multiple times and using different browsers. Nothing has worked
What are your registered/functional positions in my.scouting?
What positions show in the drop-down in the upper right corner of SB+?
The permissions structure changed on Monday, so old roles and permissions set in classic Scoutbook don’t apply anymore. I suspect you your unit Key 3 or Key 3 Delegates will need to reset permissions for the scouters in your unit based on the abilities matrix and video linked in the blue banner at the top of these forums. Pay close attention to the superscripts associated with each position and ability in the PDF, since many of them look similar.
@PREETHIRAMMOHAN you are not a Den Leader - You are a registered Committee Member - the Den Admin positions where retired. Users need to be registered in the correct positions - there are some things your unit could do in the permissions system - the key 3 need to read or watch the available resources. See Scoutbook_Permissions.pdf and the Scoutbook Plus permissions video.
