Unable to edit the advancements for anyone other than my own child in Scoutbook Plus

Despite being connected to all of the scouts in my den, I am unable to edit the advancements for anyone other than my own child in Scoutbook Plus. For a child X (not mine) in the den, I click “X’s Advancement” in Scoutbook, it opens up Scoutbook Plus in a new tab, and my child’s Scoutbook Plus page is the only one I can access from there.

We followed the instructions on the following threads:

https://discussions.scouting.org/t/cannot-edit-achievements-of-scouts-in-my-den-in-scoutbook/295489/5

To no avail…

I don’t know if this is related to the warning in Scoutbook that “another user is using the same email address.” ? I am not sure where the duplicate email address would be used?

@MichaelRudolph Your e-mail address was also on your Scout’s Scoutbook account. I have removed it.

In Scoutbook Plus, do you have your Den Admin role selected?

I only see parent/guardian as an option in the drop-down :

@MichaelRudolph Can you try logging in to Scoutbook (legacy) and go to your den page there.

See if your den is approved. If it’s approved, you should see a green shield with a checkmark next to the den name.

You can log in to Scoutbook (legacy) at the following url:

Yes it looks to be the case:

By the way, I was just added to the system as a Den Admin this evening. Should this update be reflected immediately in Scoutbook Plus, or do I need to wait some time to have it propagate over?

@MichaelRudolph If you were just added today, then I would recommend waiting. It should work for you tomorrow after an overnight process runs.

Ok - I will check back tomorrow and see if that fixes it. Thank you!

Yes that was the issue - I just had to wait for the change to update in the system!
