Suddenly unable to edit advancement in SB+

I am a committee member who is taking over as advancement chair. I have been able to previously edit advancement and activities in Scoutbook and Scoutbook Plus but now I’m only able to edit certain things in Scoutbook. When I go into Scoutbook Plus I get the message “Youe position(s) and related permissions do not allow you to perform this action” - but I’m a committee member and I have full control. I can still go into Scoutbook and edit advancement.

We also have another scout who went to re-register after their enrollement expired and SB created a second ID and it put it in as a misspelled last name. When I go into Scoutbook, I only see this scouts old ID/name and says that I am not connected to this scout and when I try to go into SB+ it says the message above. So I can’t edit this scouts advancement at all. I’ve sent instructions to the parent on how to combine both ID’s under one account - but why am I unable to suddenly edit in SB+ for any scout?

I’ve verified I still have permissions.

@NicoleBarton - is this for a pack or troop ?

@NicoleBarton some users are seeing that error - but it should have no effect on SB+ functioning

@NicoleBarton you are in a Troop - all advancement for Troops is still in Legacy Scoutbook

I’m in a troop. I was able to edit advancement in SB+ last month but not in the last couple weeks now.

But even the other scout I mentioned doesn’t show up in Scoutbook - only Scoutbook Plus so I can’t edit any of his advancement in either one. I could edit from SB+ last month - but not in the last couple weeks.

Advancement is not in SB+ for Troops and has not been. As far as the Scouts that sound like let their registrations lapse or something - you can post their Member IDs (no names) and we can take a look

@NicoleBarton - the only thing that could possibly be done for troops in advancements.scouting.org is final completed dates. There is no method for partials.

Beyond that a key3 in the unit should make sure you are assigned the advancement chair functional role in my.scouting.org
