Unable to end a scouts Den Chief Role

I have a scout that is in our Troop who was also a Den Chief for our Pack. He hasn’t been in the role since June of 2025. Various leaders have attempted to update his record to reflect the end date of 06/12/25 however the following error is shown.

“There should be at least one active and not ended Den Chief Position record for the given user and unit and userPositionld - organizationGuid: 52904906-8430-40BF-9F21-1F6713D4E139 -userld: 2780925”

@BrianPeterka - which unit is trying to end the position ?

@BrianPeterka Try approving the Den Chief position in Scoutbook (legacy), then save. Then put an end date on the position.

@BrianPeterka Based on what I can see, the Scout has 2 leadership positions that are not approved:

Thank you for the assist; once approved, I was able to close it out with an end date. Makes complete sense now!
