Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
A den was accidentally awarded a Adventure. I was able to go in to ScoutBook Plus and uncheck the “Awarded” box for all of scouts except for two. I have tried multiple times and am unable to remove this adventure for these two scouts.
It looks like there was a bug similar to this that was fixed in September.
I get a message “Success: Advancement has been updated” but this is not the case.
@scouting does not make sense. Awarded just means the scout has the award. Are you trying to uncheck the Awarded Checkbox? Are you trying to clear the Date of the Adventure? If all requirements of an adventure are filled in the Adventure will auto-complete, so a requirement would need to be cleared for that not to happen.
Thanks @DonovanMcNeil. Someone else was working on advancements and adventure was marked as awarded before it was purchased. Since it was awarded I can no longer add it to the purchase order and advancement report to send to the scout shop.
These two scouts have earned, but not received this adventure. Usually I mark them as awarded after the pins/belt loops are given to the scouts after a pack meeting.
