I’m taking a look at my troop in the Unit Dashboard, and when I look at the Unit Metrics for Advancement, it shows that we have not met the standard for it. I believe we have.
The definition says it is “At least 30% Scouts have rank advancements in prior 12 months”. Based on that, I ran the Advancement History report for the past 12 months (4/15/2024 - 4/15/2025). The report says that four Scouts in my troop have advanced in rank in that time frame. If you do the math, it comes out to either a 31% or 36% ranking, depending on what Youth Membership total you want to look at. Not great, but it meets the standard.
On the Unit Dashboard, it only shows one rank being earned by one Scout.
My guess is this: we’ve only had one Scout rank up in 2025 and it’s my theory that that is the only one showing. The metric calculation, despite the definition of “the past 12 months”, is only looking at 2025.
Does that theory make sense? Could that be what’s happening here?
