I have a trans kiddo who has not changed their legal name yet but does go by a different name. The new name is listed as their preferred name. I just invited them to Scoutbook for the first time, and the auto-generated username is their deadname, which is not going to go over well. Is there a way to change that?
not sure what you mean by or how you got a auto username?
I invited my scout to scoutbook using the instructions here. That generated an email, sent to my scout, that looked like this.
hmmmm - it used to default to email?
Is there a way to change it?
I think the only way would be for Council to send in a national membercare ticket to change it
I believe it defaults to something like firstname.lastname. It has for a while now.
It defaults to the name as they are registered not the preferred name.
