In Scoutbook, when you go to edit a Scout profile, it takes you to an IA page that lets you enter a “preferred name.” So a kid named “James” can be given the preferred name of “Mac” for example. Scoutbook then uses that preferred name in all reports and pages. This is quite helpful on lists alphabetized by first name. But Internet Advancement always uses the given first name, rather than the preferred name. Is there a way to change this, so IA uses the preferred name? Thanks.
I’m pretty sure I saw in another thread that SUAC has already added this to the request list for the developers. Whether and/or when it gets worked on doesn’t get released by the BSA until it’s actually completed.
